Who we are
A Christian community, doing life together for the common good.
One Church Brighton is a broad and inclusive church, full of brilliant but imperfect people who are trying to work out how the Christian faith makes sense in the real world. We do lots of different activities in and around Brighton, but on Sundays we gather together for worship at 10:30am at Florence Road. We sing some songs, we talk to one another and we try to be open, honest and real.

Our values shape all we do
Spend much time with us and you’ll hear us speak of our values, we see these as orientating stories that shape our shared practice together and guide the decisions we take. So in order to understand what we do, you need to understand why we do it. Our values unpack this.
- INTIMACY with God
- INVOLVEMENT in the world
- INTERDEPENDENCE with each other
- INCLUSION of everyone
- INTEGRITY in all we do

We are an LGBTQ+ affirming church
If you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, then please know that you can find a safe, welcoming church family here in which we welcome your participation without any glass ceilings or hidden agendas. We believe we need each other, with all our beautiful diversity and difference, to reflect the creativity, image, and joy of God.
We know that many religious spaces are unsafe environments for LGBTQ+ people. If walking into our building on a Sunday feels like too big of a first step and you’d rather meet one of our team for a chat first, then please please do get in touch. We’d love to meet you.
