Florence Road Market
Connecting people with local producers, our weekly farmers market is a feast for the senses.

The Reading Room
Our little book corner has a big vision of bringing people together into conversation around global issues of justice, equity, art and action. Start / join in a reading group, or just come and browse remarkable ideas over a cup of coffee.

Florence Road Café
Open Tuesday – Saturday 8.30am-4pm, our café is the perfect place to meet a friend for a drink, bring your laptop and get your head down to some work, or come with your kids for a hot chocolate after the school run. All our coffee is sourced and roasted by Skylark, our very own top quality and completely not for profit roastery, so not only is it completely delicious, it’s also ethically sourced, and supports social and environmental projects in the UK as well as overseas.

The Venue
Roomy yet cosy, One Church Florence Road is a perfect choice for concerts, weddings and art installations. It’s also got a newly refurbished kitchen, large hall and plenty of other rooms, and is (nearly fully) wheelchair accessible.

CHOMP
Stemming from a desire to see no child go hungry during school holidays, Chomp has become over time a community of support and wellness for the many families we work with.

The Venue
One Church Gloucester Place offers a beautiful sanctuary with high vaulted ceilings and wonderful acoustics, and provides a highly flexible space whether for a community gathering or high profile event.
The building also offers a large ground floor hall, kitchen facilities and a smaller meeting room. We are also able to offer coffee bars, have an alcohol licence and a private car park offering spaces to our hirers.
Due to the age and layout it is very difficult for people with restricted mobility to use this space, we are working on this though and hope to resolve this issue as soon as we can.

Pro Baristas
Weekly groups providing professional training for people who want satisfying jobs in specialty coffee – and who might not normally get a chance.
Events Lineup
We host everything from ceilidhs to sober raves, silent discos, artist installations, and festivals like the Great Escape and Brighton Fringe. Come and join in the fun!
