It was delightful to see the streets of Brighton heaving with colour and dancing and celebration again for Pride weekend. For the first time in three years, we were back on the front steps of our building on the Old Steine to offer water (and a toilet pit stop) to the marchers, as well as wanting to shout loudly that affirming churches exist, and that God’s creativity and love is expressed in the gift of the LGBTQ+ community to the world.
